Lake Point Reno

This home was beautiful to begin with- it just needed a fresh look after feeling very ‘woodsy/craftsman’ for so many years! We took out one section of upper cabinets (and turned them into a bar!) and replaced it with open shelving, which made it feel much larger. We also extended the island peninsula out just a few feet and morphed the shape which dramatically changed the openness of the kitchen! Minor changes like exchanging ornate molding for a more simple style and adding shiplap in many forms throughout made it feel comfy but fresh! Custom mantles, vent hood, and barn wood door keep the “roughness” of the original craftsman style in the home and give it “old character”- even in a newer home!

Here is a look at the whole project: Before, During + After!
